The questionnaire has been validated through the six rounds of data collection in Germany which led to adjustments of the questionnaire. Validated items from previous surveys conducted were included in the questionnaire (e.g. questions related to risk perception, self-efficacy, trust, affect, fairness, prevention, resilience, worry and conspiracy thinking).
